Carrot is the next nakama after Jinbei. She also follow the pattern;

Monkey D. Luffy ate the Gomu Gomu no Mi (Gum-Gum Fruit): So we have 5 and 6. The Great Straw Hat Fleet has 5600 crew members, and Luffy’s birthday should have been May 6th, but because May 5th is Children and Carp Day in Japan, it was moved to it (we can say it’s because he wanted so much to become King of Pirates, he was born earlier than his planned birthday). Gol D. Roger’s bounty is ฿5,564,800,000 that is near from ฿5,600,000,000 that will be probably Luffy’s bounty when he’ll become the King of Pirates. Also, Luffy is sometimes seen with clothes with 56 written on it.
Post-Marineford Arc
Tony Tony Chopper ate the Hito Hito no Mi (Human-Human Fruit) : So we have 1 and 10. Also 110 is an emergency call number in Japan (for the police okay, but still an emergency call for Chopperman!). His bounty should be a ฿100,000,000 but with failed power of 10 (lol).
Nico Robin ate the Hana Hana no Mi (Flower-Flower Fruit) : So we have 8 and 7. Strangely, her first bounty was of ฿79,000,000, just ฿1,000,000 above ฿78,000,000, she also took the ฿1,000,000 to ฿80,000,000.
Brook ate the Yomi-Yomi no Mi (Resur-Resur Fruit) : So we have 4 and 3. Remember 4 can be pronounced like Death? Oh hell yeah you guessed! Hi birthday is also April 3rd ! His bounty is ฿83,000,000 but it’s okay since 8 can be read as “You” (よう), shorted to “Yo” (よ).
We have 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. 2 and 9 are missing.
It is important to know that 2 can be written as: Yu, Ni and Fu and 9 can be written as Ku, Ki and Kyu. Yuki 2 No Mi is a Logia fruit which the Straw Hats are missing; 3 Paramecia, 1 Zoan and 0 Logia.
Carrot is the monkey grabbing onto Luffy stealing his orange. A reference to Carrot sneak aboard the Sunny, maybe ate or will eat Nami's orange which contain Monet's devil fruit Yuki Yuki no Mi. Snowy background and "Winter" on Luffy's coat. The Straw Hats in this cover page are youngsters of the SH Pirates.
Anyone remember the Snow Rabbit Theory?
Carrot is a fun loving character. A strong warrior. The fun quad squad are Luffy, Usopp, Chopper and Carrot. Carrot stayed with the SH for a while now. She nicknamed Chopper "ChoBro/Bropper". Carrot sees Chopper like a brother to her.
Few facts about rabbit;
They are crepuscular, meaning that they are most active at dusk and dawn.
Rabbits get bored. Just like humans, rabbits need socialization, space to exercise and plenty of toys to keep themselves entertained.
They’re prey animals. Rabbits who are afraid may run or jump away so quickly that they hurt themselves.
Jinbei is a helmsman and there is one or two more roles to fill in the crew's ship. A Lookout/Watcher and Scientist or Cabin Boy/Girl/apprentice.
Nami was a Lookout but with Carrot in the crew, Nami can focus on her navigating skill.
Carrot will fill as a Lookout. A pirate ship had a Lookout or Barrelman to spot enemy ships or land in the far distance. Astronomical telescope could be for Caesar as the crew give time for Caesar to redeem himself but again Carrot could fill those two objects since Monet is an astronomer and Carrot will gain Monet's devil fruit after all.
*Caesar will join the crew in Elbaf (appeared in Punk Hazard and Dr. VegaPUNK's apprentice, Gigantification, worked under Big Mom [her backstory] and Kaido [SMILE and SAD]). O-Momo, son of Oden will joined the crew as cabin boy.*
Pedro sacrificed himself for the Straw Hats and Carrot to escape. To bring a new Dawn. The Roger Pirates had minks, Inu and Neko as crew members. Carrot will be the Inu-Neko of SH Pirates. Carrot's sulong form is also very strong but restrictive (only transform on full moon like werewolf/weremink).
